Van Hoek Bouw joins JARO Groep

JARO Groep, supported by investor FIELDS Group, strengthens its position in the energy transition with the acquisition of Van Hoek Bouw

JARO Groep B.V. (“JARO Groep”), a leading multidisciplinary specialist in the Dutch infrastructure sector, operating across earthworks, green landscaping, energy infrastructure, civil services, and environmental projects, has acquired Van Hoek Bouw B.V. (“Van Hoek Bouw”). With this strategic step, JARO Groep strengthens its position in the energy transition and further expands its expertise in high‑voltage infrastructure. JARO Groep was supported in this acquisition by investor FIELDS Group, which actively supports the group in executing its growth strategy.

Van Hoek Bouw is a contractor specialized in the design and construction of high‑voltage foundations and transformer stations. With its focus on complex civil works within energy infrastructure, Van Hoek Bouw plays a key role in the Dutch energy transition. The company operates in a niche segment characterized by high technical complexity and strict safety requirements, and serves leading clients such as TenneT, Enexis, Qirion, SPIE and Omexom. Rob Dellen, founder of Van Hoek Bouw: “After years of strong growth, we see JARO Groep as the right partner for the next phase. By joining forces, we can further strengthen our position and respond optimally to the growing demand driven by the energy transition.”

JARO Groep consists of several specialized companies and offers a wide range of services within the civil engineering sector, including civil works, cable and pipeline infrastructure, and landscaping-related activities. The addition of Van Hoek Bouw further strengthens the group’s multidisciplinary profile, particularly in the field of energy transition and high‑voltage infrastructure, enabling JARO to better serve its clients. Marloes Kooijmans, CEO of JARO Groep, comments: “With Van Hoek Bouw, we are adding specialist expertise in high‑voltage foundations that fits perfectly with our strategy in the energy transition. The combination of technical expertise, strong client relationships, and an excellent safety track record makes Van Hoek Bouw a valuable addition to the group.” Gerrit Kalkman, management team of JARO Groep, adds: “By combining this expertise with our existing activities in the energy transition, we can take a more integrated approach to projects and further unburden our clients.”

Van Hoek Bouw is the fifth acquisition by JARO Groep since March 2024, as the group continues to build national coverage and a multidisciplinary service offering. Fabianne Onderwater of FIELDS Group concludes: “This acquisition marks another important step in building JARO Groep into a leading national player, with entrepreneurship, craftsmanship, and customer focus remaining at the core.”
