JARO Groep, backed by investor FIELDS Group, strengthens its position in the energy transition and expands national coverage through acquisition of Grondverzetbedrijf Visscher

JARO Groep B.V., a leading group of civil and environmental engineering companies operating in the ground, road and waterworks (GWW) sector, has acquired Grondverzetbedrijf Visscher B.V.. This strategic move strengthens JARO Groep’s presence in the central, northern and eastern regions of the Netherlands, while further expanding its service offering in the energy transition and infrastructure domains. The acquisition was supported by investor FIELDS Group, which actively contributes to JARO Groep’s growth strategy.

Grondverzetbedrijf Visscher B.V. has a long-standing history of 104 years and is widely recognised as a reliable name in its region. With its specialization in cable route installation, alongside broad civil and infrastructure expertise, Visscher plays a vital role in enabling the energy transition. Equipped with modern machinery and skilled professionals, the company is capable of executing complex projects, including those at challenging locations such as high- and medium-voltage substations. Visscher operates from two centrally located sites, with its main office in Mastenbroek (Overijssel) and a secondary location in Almere (Flevoland).

JARO Groep consists of several specialist companies and offers a comprehensive range of services within the GWW sector, including civil engineering, cable and pipeline infrastructure, and environmental engineering. The addition of Visscher further enhances the group’s operational capacity, enabling it to deliver high-quality and innovative solutions to its clients with even greater effectiveness.
