Back to overviewAmsterdam – October 2025: FIELDS Group announces the sale of Archive-IT Group to SB Italia (backed by Argos Fund), a leading Italian specialist in digital transformation and a benchmark in process digitization solutions.
Archive-IT is a large independent archiving solutions specialist operating in the Netherlands, Belgium, France & Germany. The company offers services and software focused on (a) advanced digital archiving, (b) information management, (c) digitalization of information and (d) intelligent document management. The company has a diverse customer base including hospitals, governments, law firms, and multinationals.
Since partnering with FIELDS Group in 2021, the company has broadened its software offering and expanded its international footprint in France and Germany. Amongst others two add-on acquisitions were successfully completed & integrated and a new greenfield location in Germany was opened.
Via this transaction Archive-IT enters into a new chapter as part of SB Italia. The acquisition of Archive-IT serves as a catalyst for SB Italia’s growth and innovation in the digital and document management sector, as part of a development strategy combining organic growth with selective acquisitions. Archive-IT’s deep sector expertise, innovative & scalable technology, and presence in multiple European markets make it a strong strategic fit. The acquisition strengthens SB Italia’s European footprint and supports its ambition to be a European leader in digital innovation.
